Why use Lime Based Products ?

 Lime, when it is produced naturally comes from calcareous stone. Lime is acquired by calcinations in about 900 °. It is cooled down by adding water then becoming slaked lime. (the residual water from the cooling process is known as whitewash). It is then converted into cool mortar by adding sand and slaked lime. Following carbonation (action of carbon dioxide) it is then reconstructed on a support surface which has all the characteristics of calcareous stone.
